Finger Lakes Reformed Church

A Confessional Reformed Church in Skaneateles, NY

Looking for a church home in Skaneateles, NY? Welcome to
Finger Lakes Reformed Church — a Christ-centered,
Bible-believing congregation rooted in the
historic Reformed tradition. We serve
Skaneateles, Auburn, Owasco,
Marcellus, Camillus, and surrounding communities
throughout Onondaga County, Cayuga County, and
the greater Finger Lakes region with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our mission is simple and profound: to glorify God and to bring the Gospel
of Jesus Christ into the Finger Lakes community and beyond. We believe the local church
is not merely a place to attend, but a covenant family to belong to — where the
Word of God is faithfully preached, the name of Jesus Christ is lifted high,
and the Holy Spirit works through ordinary means of grace to transform lives.

Finger Lakes Reformed Church is a campus of
Sharon Reformed Church
in Sharon Springs, NY, a member congregation of the
Alliance of Reformed Churches.

What We Believe

Finger Lakes Reformed Church stands firmly in the
historic Reformed faith, affirming the authority and sufficiency of
Holy Scripture, the beauty of covenant community, and salvation by
grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. We hold to the
Three Forms of Unity — the Heidelberg Catechism, the Belgic Confession,
and the Canons of Dort — as faithful summaries of biblical teaching, and remain committed to
sound biblical preaching for today's world.

Expository Preaching

A Reformed Church with a Heart for Outreach

Finger Lakes Reformed Church is actively engaged in Gospel outreach throughout the Finger Lakes region. We are committed to bringing the love and hope of Jesus Christ into our community through acts of service, compassion, and faithful proclamation.

We support global missions through Roper Sillada in the Philippines and Rita Loyola Osano in Kenya, and we are a member congregation of the Alliance of Reformed Churches and the Light for the Nations Network.

Meet the Pastor

A Shepherd with a Heart for the Gospel

Pastor Jim Peck serves as pastor of Finger Lakes Reformed Church in Skaneateles, NY and Sharon Reformed Church in Sharon Springs, NY. A retired veteran with 21 years of combined service in the United States Marine Corps and the New York National Guard Counterdrug Task Force, Pastor Jim brings a shepherd's heart and a servant's conviction to Gospel ministry in the Finger Lakes region.

"We are a community of people committed to the Word of God and the work of multiplying His Kingdom."

Pastor Jim Peck

Common Questions

What is a Reformed church?

A Reformed church holds to the historic Protestant confessions of the 16th century Reformation, emphasizing the sovereignty of God, the authority of Scripture, and salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. We are not a new movement. We stand in a tradition stretching back through Calvin, Augustine, and the apostles themselves.

What should I expect on my first Sunday?

Expect reverent, Scripture-shaped worship with congregational singing, expository preaching, and a warm welcome. We are not a flashy church. We are a faithful one. Dress as you are comfortable. Plan to arrive by 11:00 AM and use the rear entrance. We would be honored to meet you.

Is Finger Lakes Reformed Church confessional?

Yes. We hold to the Three Forms of Unity — the Heidelberg Catechism, the Belgic Confession, and the Canons of Dort — and are a member congregation of the Alliance of Reformed Churches.

Where exactly are you located?

We meet at 1326 New Seneca Turnpike, Skaneateles NY 13152. Use the Rear Entrance. Signage will guide you. We are just off Skaneateles Lake.

Voddie Baucham

"We are only as strong as the time we spend with God in His Word and in prayer."

Paul Washer
